Rates

Complimentary Visit

Business clients considering our services may receive a complimentary onsite visit.  The purpose of the visit is to meet you, see and discuss your business, take a cursory look at your equipment (if desired), and help you decide if PBCIT can meet your needs.

Onsite Labor (We come to you)

Rate is $75/hr with a one-hour minimum, billed in thirty minute increments after one hour.  Most service calls take one hour and can be accomplished on-site.

In-Lab Labor (Work done in our office)

If it's necessary to bring your computer back to our lab for more extensive work, then we charge a flat lab rate of $150 regardless of how long it takes.  Computers that need to be brought to the lab generally take longer to fix, several hours usually, so we use a flat rate to save you money.  Then we'll bring your computer back when the work is complete.

This is pretty uncommon.  We can usually address your need on-site, probably 80% to 90% of the time, depending on what needs to be addressed.

Generous with Our Time

PBCIT is very generous with our time.  We aren't sticklers, nickel and diming you for every millisecond spent on your premises.  Our philosophy is to treat you how we would want to be treated -- and that's with respect and generosity.  We have many on-going clients and this is one reason why.

We are also mindful of your time, realizing that you have a life, too.  We'll do our thing then leave you be.

Existing clients are welcome to call as often as they like.  Phone calls under thirty minutes or so are free.  Quick remote control sessions (less than fifteen minutes) are free as well for existing clients.

No Markup on Computers

We don't markup the computers that we purchase on behalf of our clients and we don't stock computers, either.  We go out and purchase each computer specifically for you based on the results of our interview with you and we pass along the computer cost.  We earn our money on labor, not marking-up computers that we buy for you.

Drive Time

Presently, there is no charge for drive time anywhere within my service area.

There is no charge for my drive to adjacent and nearby zip codes.  Further zip codes incur a $15 trip charge due to the distance.
